Face Shields Update Wednesday 8 April 2020

Hello all just a quick update from Nebular Faceshield towers.

We have dropped off an order for Andrews Pharmacy today and they were delighted as you can see.

We have been out to see Tom at TLJ Welding who is going to be using their water jet cutter to help produce the head bands that we need in large quantities. Thanks for your help Tom .. amazing classic Aston as well 🙂

We have picked up a printer from Medicines Discovery Catapult over in Alderly Park to enable us to print twice as many as we have been. Thank you so much guys especially Gemma for making it happen!

And of course we would not be able to do this with out the supply of head bands. There are a team of people that are printing these devices on their own printers. We are all collaborating in a Microsoft Team to get the supply of headbands married up with the shields and then to get them sanitized and packed up ready to go out.

We are also donating our own filament. If there are any funds left in the pot when orders are completed this residue will be donated to an agreed NHS local charity.
